The Department of Environmental Conservation says the following defendants recently paid fines for various violations of state conservation law.

Below are each defendant’s name, street address, hometown, age, date of offense, town of offense, specific charge(s), date of conviction and total in fines, fees and surcharges.

• Timothy M. White, Snell Road, South Colton, 57, Nov. 18, Parishville, unlawful possession of marijuana, Dec. 5, $150

• Douglas L. Ayers, state Route 56, Colton, 60, Dec. 14, Pierrepont, fail to comply with fisher permit conditions, Jan. 3, $52.50

• Riley Doyle, Backwoods Road, Colton, 19, Oct. 14, Pierrepont, hunt waterfowl with shotgun capable of holding more than three shells, Nov. 21, $100

• Phillip A. Widrick, Steiner Road, Croghan, 56, Dec. 6, Russell, hunt deer during closed season, Dec. 18, $102.50

• Andrew M. Carpenter, county Route 44, Chase Mills, 36, Oct. 23, Madrid, unlawful open burn, Jan. 9, $52.50

• Terry Lee Parow, county Route 24, Hermon, 65, Nov. 29, Russell, unlawful open burn, Jan. 15, $102.50
