MASSENA -- Village police charged a state parolee for allegedly stealing a woman’s wallet earlier in the month.
Terry L. McGregor, 26, of Massena is charged with second-degree robbery, fourth-degree grand larceny and fourth-degree conspiracy.
Court documents say that McGregor stole a wallet from Ashley Palmer at 351 East Orvis St. on Dec. 5 around 6 p.m. It contained $2,500 in cash and credit cards.
He is accused of committing the crime with at least one other accomplice, court documents state.
He is being held pending an appearance in Massena Village Court this afternoon.
McGregor was paroled from Bare Hill Correctional Facility on Oct. 31. He was serving 1 1/3 to 4 years for fourth-degree criminal possession of stolen property and fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
