PARISHVILLE -- A Parishville man was charged after allegedly assaulting and strangling his girlfriend during a domestic dispute April 3, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff's deputies.
Christopher Dafoe, 27, was charged with third-degree assault and criminal obstruction of breathing at 17 Allen Falls Rd., officers said.
He was arraigned in Parishville court and released under the supervision of probation, officers said.
He is to answer the charges in court at a later date.
