Nicholville Telephone Company is a client of Telcom Insurance Group and entry forms were sent to the schools by the telephone company in the townships they serve.
Sean Axtell, a second grader in Mrs. Shannon's class, won second place in the under 8 years old category and won $75.
This year's theme was the role smoke alarms play in fire safety.
There were three age groups with cash prizes for each group ($100 for first place, $75 for second place, and $50 for third place).
