PITCAIRN -- An Oswegatchie man was charged Wednesday morning with four felony charges stemming from a reported larceny of over $3,000 from Fort Drum, according to state police.
Francis J. Robert, 43, was charged with fourth-degree grand larceny: credit card, third-degree grand larceny, two counts of first-degree falsifying business records, all felonies and official misconduct: public servant performing illegal function, troopers said.
The incident was reported to state police by the U.S. General Service Administration Office of Inspector General, officers said.
He was charged at 9:35 a.m. at the police station, 1005 U.S. Highway 11, Gouverneur, police said.
Robert was released by state police.
