OSWEGATCHIE – Two people involved in an alleged domestic dispute were charged Friday with felonies in connection meth manufacturing materials.
Kara A. Grant, 23, and Sterling R. Grant, Jr., 32, of 823 County Route 4, were charged with third-degree unlawful manufacturing methamphetamine, a Class D felony, and unlawful disposal of meth lab materials, a Class E felony.
On Aug. 12, as the result of an investigation into a domestic dispute, troopers said they observed the precursors used in the manufacturing of methamphetamine in an open garage at that residence.
A search warrant was obtained from the Oswegatchie Town Court and executed by the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene and Emergency Response Team and the Narcotics Enforcement Unit.
The Grants were arraigned in Oswegatchie Town Court and released under the supervision of probation.
The State Police were assisted with this investigation by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force.
