OGDENSBURG -- A small but "impactful" group turned out for the fifth Walk with a Doc event held on Maple City Trail on Oct. 27, said a press release from the county public health department.
Dr. Alex Stoian, Canton-Potsdam Hospital; Dr. Myriam Beniamin, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center; Dr. Ross Dickstein, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center; Dr. Chris Comeau, Ogdensburg Family Practice; Brittany Terpstra, PA at Gouverneur Clinic of Community Health Center of the North Country, represented the local healthcare community.
St. Lawrence County Public Health and its Bridge to Wellness Partners host Walk with a Doc events at various locations around St. Lawrence County.
The walking program brings doctors and patients together every last Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. for some light exercise and conversation.
The program is free and open to all.
