Ogdensburg school district hopes to sell former Lincoln Elementary Building

OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg City School District hopes to sell the former Lincoln Elementary Building.

The district is accepting proposals for the sale of Lincoln Elementary School located on 1515 Knox Street in the City of Ogdensburg.

The property is identified by Ogdensburg City tax map parcel number 48.072-9-19.

Proposals must be received by the Board of Education at the District Office at 1100 State St.

Ogdensburg, NY 13669 no later than 10 a.m. July 31.

Envelopes should be labeled "Lincoln School Proposal for Purchase."

The bidder submitting the accepted proposal must complete the purchase and tender the purchase price in full to the district in certified funds within 90 days of the district's signed acceptance of the proposal. The Property shall be sold "as is" without warranty of any kind.

According to a release from the school, it is the responsibility of the prospective buyer to make arrangements and inspect the premises prior to submitting the proposal. The district shall convey the property.

The gross square footage of the school building is approximately 26,266 square feet.

Responses to this request for proposals should include the price the bidder is willing to pay for the

property and a timeline of improvements and cost of improvements to be made to the property,the release says.
