Ogdensburg school board approves coaches, teaching assistant appointments

OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg City School District Board of Education approved several personnel decisions at Monday’s meeting.
Douglas Loffler was named girls varsity basketball coach at a salary of $3,032 for the remainder of the current season after the board also approved the resignation of former coach Kyle Bouchard, retroactive to Jan. 12.The board also appointed Douglas Farley as boys modified baseball coach and Nathan Peo as boys modified lacrosse coach at salaries of $1,624 in preparation for the upcoming spring sports season.
Kelly Carpenter was appointed teaching assistant at a salary of $22,555 and teaching assistant Mary Jo Doe was granted tenure.
Several substitute teaching assistants and a substitute teacher were also appointed.
