Ogdensburg meth bust nets three suspects

OGDENSBURG -- Two Ogdensburg residents have been jailed on drug charges following a meth bust on King Street Tuesday.

The Ogdensburg Police Department’s Narcotics Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant at 2 King Street as part of an investigation involving illegal methamphetamine production occurring at the home.

Following the execution of the search warrant, investigators located seven adults, a young child, as well as, components and ingredients for a “one pot” methamphetamine production operation, inside the home.

In addition, investigators recovered a small amount of methamphetamine and heroin, along with other drug paraphernalia items.

Harlow G. Perry Jr., 38, of 2 King Street, was charged with third-degree unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, criminal possession of a controlled substance for methamphetamine and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, according to police.

Nichole L. Durham, 30, of 2 King Street, Ogdensburg, was charged with third-degree manufacture of methamphetamine and criminal possession of a controlled substance for methamphetamine and heroin, according to police.

Tyler D. Finley, 30, of 509 King Street, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance for possession of Suboxone and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument.

Police say Durham is a resident and the owner of the home, and Perry was a resident of the home at the time of the incident.

Both Perry and Durham were arraigned in Ogdensburg City Court by the Judge Willaim Small, and both were remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility without bail.

Finley was issued an appearance ticket for Ogdensburg City Court on a later date.

The Ogdensburg Narcotics Enforcement Unit was assisted by members of the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, consisting of agencies from the St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Office, Gouverneur Police Department, Canton Police Department, SUNY Potsdam Police, the New York State Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit, Department of Homeland Security Investigations.

The State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team responded to the scene to assist in remediation of the lab.
