HAMMOND – An Ogdensburg man was jailed in lieu of $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 bail bond for allegedly selling a stolen catalytic converter, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Donald C. Gilbo Jr., 27, of 214 Haggert Rd., Ogdensburg, was charged Thursday with fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property, a Class A misdemeanor, deputies said.
He was arrested after deputies investigated a complaint of a stolen catalytic converter in Hammond.
Gilbo was arraigned in Morristown Town Court, where he was jailed in lieu of bond.
Sheriff’s deputies are asking anyone with information about the catalytic converter to contact their office at 379-2222.
