MORRISTOWN -- State police say they arrested an Ogdensburg man after he fled police and the scene of an accident while under influence and in possession of narcotics.
Jacob R. Brabant, 34, of Ogdensburg is charged with third-degree fleeing police in a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, reckless driving and possession of a controlled substance in non-original container, troopers said.
He was arrested Friday at 11:12 a.m. at 410 Cedar St., Morristown, stemming from an incident about an hour earlier, police said.
Brabant was charged and released with appearance tickets, police said.
