OGDENSBURG -- Ogdensburg Fire Department responded to 71 calls in May, but just five were structure fires.
That included 71 emergency medical services calls, five hazardous condition calls, 51 service calls, and seven false alarms.
Ogdensburg Fire Department responded to 38 fires in 2017, just three more than the previous year, according to the annual report.
The fires included 23 residential incidents, three commercial fires, four vehicle fires and eight fires outside the city.
The department provided mutual aid to other departments on three occasions.
Firefighters also responded to 1,042 emergency medical service calls, 104 hazardous conditions, 560 service calls and 108 false alarms.
