OGDENSBURG – Ogdensburg City Council will meet Tuesday to discuss borrowing up to $2 million for cash flow needs.
The borrowing has become an annual tradition in Ogdensburg, which has been struggling to maintain a healthy fund balance. This time of year can be difficult for the city as it waits on reimbursements funding from state sources and tax collections.
Similar resolutions have been passed four the last four years.
Other items to be addressed at the city council meeting include a property sale and highway funding.
An executive session is once again listed on the agenda. According to the document the discussion will focus on litigation and issues “that could imperil public safety” if discussed openly.
The meeting will be held Tuesday at 7 p.m. at city hall.
