OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce awarded the “Badge Battle” traveling trophy to NYSCOPBA for their donation of $150 for the Polar Bear Plunge.
The “Badge Battle” was a new feature of this year’s Plunge, inviting local law enforcement and public service organizations to compete to raise the most pledges to win the traveling trophy.
The event was held on March 20 at the Dobisky Visitor’s Center.
Eighteen people dove into the chilly St. Lawrence River, raising money in support of the Ogdensburg Volunteer Rescue Squad and Chamber of Commerce.
