SYRACUSE – Competing against 40 4-H members from all over the state, an Ogdensburg girl received high honors at the 4-H Western Horse Show at the New York State Fair.
Cheynne Youngs earned a second place win in the Western Pleasure category Sept. 2 and 3.
Her mount was an 18-year-old quarter horse, Cash for Cookies.
Youngs was also awarded a 4th place in 4-H Western Road Hack in another huge class later on Sept. 2.
