OGDENSBURG -- The Ogdensburg Free Academy Key Club spent Sunday picking up litter and trash along Ogdensburg two waterfronts.
The high school service organization began at the St. Lawrence River waterfront on Franklin Street, picking up litter around Kid's Kingdom Playground and Morrissette Park, and then worked west along the city's Greenbelt.
After crossing the Oswegatchie River, the students picked up litter along the city's westside, ending underneath the Lafayette Street bridge.
The Key Club is sponsored by the Ogdensburg Kiwanis Club and meets Thursday's after school at Ogdensburg Free Academy.
Members of the OFA Key Club are currently seeking sponsors for the Oct. 5 Harvest Walk to raise money for needy families.
