POTSDAM – Not Just RVs, a recreational vehicle and accessory business in Potsdam since 1985, is closing as of April 1.
Owner Faye Foster said “I got an offer on the land and the building, and it’s time to retire.”
The business got its start at a location on the Potsdam-Morley Road in 1985 and moved to 7297 U.S. Rt. 11 in 1991.
Foster has been running the business on her own, so no employees will be left without work when she closes.
“It’s kind of hard to run a place by yourself,” she said.
She is having an “everything must go” sale, with a 10 percent discount on everything immediately, including parts and accessories, hitches and awnings.
The business hours during the sale will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
“It’s been a very nice experience,” Foster said. “I’ve enjoyed working with people, but all good things must come to an end.”
