NORWOOD -- After four decades the Norwood Village Green Concert Series logo is changing but it still has the same message — free outdoor concerts, and bring your own seating.
The original series logo featured models Richard and Marlene Boprey, and was created from a photo taken by Harriet (Mickey) Liotta, co-founder of the series. That brand image has been used on thousands of programs, posters, letters, and stationary, and will continue to be used on remaining envelopes until the supply is depleted.
The new logo was created by graphic artist Alisha Arnold, and is based on a current photo of the band shell and rendered stylistically with a new couple.
It was created by Ms. Arnold while she is working on a display for the Village of Norwood as it creates its “Blueway Trail – Along the Racquette – Norwood, NY” historic kiosk panels.
