State police say they charged two St. Lawrence County residents on Friday with selling methamphetamine and heroin.
Troopers say they charged 25-year-old Rachel A. Gordon of Rensselaer Falls with one felony county each of third-degree criminal sale and possession of a controlled substance. She allegedly sold and possessed heroin, troopers said.
Jonathan E. LaValley, 24, of Norfolk was charged with two felony counts of fifth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance. Troopers said he allegedly sold methamphetamine.
Each suspect was arraigned in St. Lawrence County Court on Monday.
Gordon was released under supervision of the St. Lawrence County Probation Department.
LaValley was remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, without bail.
The arrests “stem from lengthy narcotics investigations,” according to troopers. They were assisted by the St. Lawrence County Drug Task Force, along with Ogdensburg and Potsdam police departments.
