NORWOOD -- About 30 K-Kids (fourth graders) from Norwood-Norfolk Elementary School joined their sponsor, Norwood Kiwanis, for dinner at the Lobster House in Norwood recently.

The K-Kids club installed officers are Harmonie Akins, co-secretary; Emerson Garrow, co-secretary; Ava Donahue, vice president; and Madison Carista, president.

Kiwanis Kids includes three programs for elementary school students between the ages of 6 and 12. In each, the lessons of leadership and self-development are introduced through learning to plan, setting goals, working with others, and celebrating successes. The programs are broken into three components: service, character education, and academic achievement. For more information about K-Kids, contact us at MemberServices@kiwanis.org or 800-KIWANIS.
