NORFOLK – A Norwood man faces charges of felony driving while intoxicated, unlicensed operation, and driving a vehicle without an interlock device, and was being held on $15,000 cash bail or $25,000 bond.

State police said that Brent R. Scovil, 24, was arrested at 8:35 a.m. along St. Rt. 56 in Norfolk, and was charged with driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .10 percent, DWI with another conviction in the previous 10 years, and first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, all felonies.

He was also charged with using a vehicle without a required interlock device, a misdemeanor, unsafe tires and inadequate or no stop lamps, and failing to notify DMV of a change of address.

Scovil was arraigned before Town of Norfolk Justice Grubee, and remanded to the county jail.

He is to be back in court Monday.
