NORWOOD -- A Norwood landlord was charged Friday after threatening and choking a tenant on Elm Street, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Deputies say they received a report of an altercation on Elm Street and upon investigation charged Timothy Pollock, 60.
He was charged with criminal obstruction of breathing and third-degree menacing.
Pollock allegedly was engaged in an argument with his tenant before making threats and then choking the victim, according to deputies.
He was arraigned in Canton court and released to appear in Potsdam court at a later date, deputies said.
