Communities are now beginning to plan services and memorial ceremonies for the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, and members of the Norwood Fire Department Band, The Brass Firemen, are offering their services.
Part of those services will be the playing of Taps. The firemen would like to offer members of the Norwood Brass Firemen to try to be available to have the honor of playing at these services.
They can make no guarantees, but they will try to accommodate as many requests as they can.
Requests can be made to Bob Haggett, Manager of the Norwood Brass Firemen, at 353-8873 (home) or 212-1831 (cell).
