Northern TRIBS Swimming, Inc. is now accepting online registrations for the 2016-2017 short course season, which runs from Sept. 14 to March 12.
Lessons and competitive practices will be available at the high school pools in both Canton and Massena.
Lesson swimmers must be at least age five and lessons run concurrently at both locations.
Novice swimmers ages 12 and under participate in stroke school and there are separate competitive age groups for swimmers ages 14 and under and seniors.
Adult lap swimming is available for anyone over 18 swimming laps for fitness, pain management or training for triathlons and US Masters competitions.
This year TRIBS is offering an Outreach Program for assistance with swim lesson tuition, USA Swimming registration fees and/or season membership. Applications will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis based on demonstrated need and special circumstances such as if participants receive free/reduced school lunch or experience temporary hardship.
Outreach applicants must register online via the specific group and submit a copy of Tax Form (1040), proof of free/reduced school lunch or temporary hardship.
Swimmers may register online by visiting www.goTRIBS.org
