STOCKHOLM – A Norfolk man has been charged with third degree assault and fourth degree criminal mischief after allegedly breaking a woman’s foot in a domestic dispute.
Bruce A. Copland, 45, of 1597 Coutny Rt. 36, Norfolk, is alleged to have broken the woman’s foot several times after “engaging in a reckless course of conduct” on March 19, according the report from the St. Lawrence County Sheriff. He is also accused of destroying some property.
He was arraigned in Stockholm Town Court and sent to the county jail in lieu of $1,000 bail pending further court action.
