OGDENSBURG -- Michael J. Farrell was sworn in on Monday as the City of Ogdensburg’s Provisional Fire Chief.
He replaced retiring Chief Steven Badlam today. Badlam retired after serving on the department for nearly 30 years.
Farrell was born and raised in the Ogdensburg area and graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy.
He is a 16-year veteran of the Fire Department and previously served as an assistant chief.
