OGDENSBURG -- City officials are advising drivers and pedestrians of changes to the pedestrian and traffic signals as the intersections of State and Ford Streets and State and Washington Streets.
The Department of Transportation has made changes to the pedestrian and traffic signals at the intersection of State Street (also known as State Route 68) and Ford Street as well as State and Washington Streets.
When activated by a pedestrian, red lights will stop traffic in all three directions at that intersection. NYSDOT also installed signs on each approach that will prohibit drivers from making a right turn on red while the pedestrian crossing is activated.
Installation took place Tuesday.
