MASSENA -- Officials at Wednesday's Town Council meeting will discuss a Brownfield Opportunity Area (BOA) study that details several possible uses for the former General Motors site.
Heidi Ames from the St. Lawrence County Planning Office and Dave MacLeod from the Department of State will talk about which zoning designations could be applied to the area.
The full revitalization plan, executive summary and appendices, are available on the St. Lawrence County website at https://www.stlawco.org/Departments/Planning/CommunityProjects/BOAProject, as well as on the Town of Massena’s website.
The meeting, which is open to the public, will be at 5:30 p.m. in the Town Hall’s Room 30. The GM site discussion will be first on the agenda, Town Supervisor Steve O’Shaughnessy said.
