OSWEGATCHIE – A motorcyclist was injured today after a car allegedly pulled out from a driveway on NYS Hwy. 812, according to state police.
Police said Kari L. Terwilliger, 17, of County Route 28, Lisbon, was pulling out of a driveway onton NYS Hwy. 812 in a 2006 Chevy Impala when the vehicle was struck by a 2009 Suzuki motorcycle operated by Jeffrey A. Thibert, who was traveling north.
Thibert was transported to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Ogdensburg, and treated for abrasions to the left arm and left leg, police said.
Terwilliger was issued a ticket for failure to yield right of way when entering a roadway. She is to face the charge in Town of Oswegatchie Court June 15, police said.
