MORRISTOWN – A Morristown teen was hurt after she jumped out of a moving car as she and her sister argued.
Amanda L. Bertrand, 18, was backing up a vehicle and arguing with her 14-year-old sister at 429 English Settlement Rd. when the 14-year-old jumped out of the car at about 7:30 p.m. Thursday, injuring herself.
St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies said the younger sister was knocked to the ground by the door and hit in the legs by the front passenger side tire.
She was taken to Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center for injuries to her right knee and left foot.
