POTSDAM – A Gouverneur man banned from Walmart and two Ogdensburg men have been arrested for their part in an alleged theft of two 32-inch flat screen TVs from the Potsdam Walmart on Dec. 9, according to St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Shayne A. Austin, 19, Gouverneur, was charged with two counts of petit larceny for allegedly stealing the two TVs from the store. He was also arrested for second-degree criminal contempt and trespass. Austin was recently ordered by Ogdensburg Justice Small to stay out of all Walmarts.
Also arrested were Timothy H. Paige, 51, and Robert E. Paige, 50, both of Ogdensburg, for criminal possession of stolen property. Deputies report the two helped Austin by providing transportation for the stolen TVs to Ogdensburg.
