MASSENA -- A village resident is jailed on multiple counts after allegedly choking a 16-year-old girl.
Coral C. Taylor, 39, of Cedar Street is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief, child endangerment, obstruction of breathing, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration and two counts of second-degree harassment, village police said.
On Wednesday, she allegedly choked the teen, hit her head off the corner of a heater, held her on the ground by her throat and ripped a necklace from her neck, according to Massena Village Court officials.
The alleged domestic violence happened at Taylor’s Cedar Street residence, court officials said.
She was arraigned by Massena Justice Patrick Serguson and remanded to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility, Canton, in lieu of $3,000 bail or $6,000 bond, police said.
