MASSENA -- A Massena woman was injured and is facing traffic counts after rolling her vehicle while traveling on Center Street.
Elizabeth Payne, 24, is charged with speed not reasonable and prudent, illegal tires and failure to keep right.
Police said she was traveling east on Center Street near the roundabout at the north end of the Parker Avenue bridge on Sunday around 6 p.m.
She stepped on the brakes but was unable to slow down enough to negotiate the roundabout turn. The front of her vehicle struck the median, spun around and landed on its right side, police said.
She was taken from the scene by ambulance and treated for minor injuries, according to police.
Three female passengers in the vehicle, two 18-year-olds and a 21-year-old, were not injured, police said.
