MASSENA -- The Water Department will be testing & flushing fire hydrants throughout the Massena Water Districts from Oct. 15 – 26.
Testing will begin on the north side of the Village, and end on the south side.
Due to the flushing of hydrants, water may obtain a slight discoloration.
Although it is safe to drink, water should be run through your tap for a few minutes to clear.
Water discoloration may stain laundry.
Water should clear itself by the day after the hydrants in an area have been flushed.
