MASSENA -- The town will charge $250 for hangar rental fees, the board decided Wednesday.
That was after Highway Superintendent Frank Diagostino reported that’s the going rate for the non-heated units at Massena International Airport.
They are looking at finding a rate for the hangar that is heated based on the electric bill.
Diagostino said Cape Air wanted to move from that one to a larger, uninsulated building but wants to town to winterize it.
“In my opinion, it shouldn’t be our expense,” Town Supervisor Joseph Gray said.
