MASSENA -- The Board of Education on Thursday will meet and vote on a "meal shaming" policy and discuss a school-branding plan revolving around their new Spartan mascot.
They will also vote to hire two teachers, a teaching assistant and other positions.
The board also anticipates making annual appointments and will swear in their president, vice president and a non-voting student ex officio member.
The agenda says the meeting starts at 6 p.m., when the will elect the aforementioned officers. It says the board anticipates an executive session immediately after, and attendees should plan for the rest of the public meeting to resume around 7 p.m.
