MASSENA — The Board of Education on Thursday accepted $4,200 in donations from businesses and a local organization.
The Massena Central School District received $3,000 from Alcoa for the boys varsity hockey program.
The junior high robotics program received $1,000 from Arconic.
The Massena Basketball Association gave $200 for a basketball charter education assembly at Madison Elementary on Jan. 10. The show involves basketball tricks with a motivational message, according to a document from the meeting.
“We certainly appreciate all of those organizations that are supporting the district,” Superintendent Pat Brady said.
