MASSENA -- Village police say two people were jailed on a felony marijuana charge following an early Sunday morning traffic stop.
Ciera L. Smith, 28, of Reagan Road, Norfolk is charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, failure to signal and obstructed view.
Cody L. Page, 26, of East Hatfield Street, Massena is charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana, police said.
Village police say the two were pulled over around 2:15 a.m. Sunday on Maple Street extension. Officers found Page was wanted by New York State Police, and a search of their vehicle allegedly turned up over one pound of pot.
They were each arraigned in Massena court by judge Eric Gustafson and remanded to the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton, in lieu of $1,000 bail or $2,000 bond, police said.
