MASSENA -- Two separate auto collisions less than an hour apart resulted in no injuries, but charges against two drivers.
At 1:50 p.m. on Water Street, a man ignored a sign advising drivers that a portion of the road was closed for a Department of Public Works job. The driver, Daniel Laprade, 71, of Roosevelt Street, Massena ended up driving into a hole that DPW crews had dug. He was cited with failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, reckless driving, speed not reasonable and prudent, failure to keep right and failure to use due care.
At 1 p.m. on Andrews Street, a driver collided with a tractor trailer, according to Massena police.
Clayton Plourde, 33, of Center Street, Massena was charged with failure to keep right and uninspected motor vehicle.
Police said neither driver was impaired.
