MASSENA -- A Massena man was arrested Monday for patronizing a prostitute stemming from a report of a person with a knife that was reported to state police July 27.
Jeffrey M. Rush, 56, was charged with third-degree patronizing a prostitute. He was charged at 10:28 a.m. at the state police station, 29 Stearns St., police said.
An Ogdensburg woman was charged earlier this fall with prostitution stemming from the same incident.
In October state police charged Shaniice L. King, 25, with prostitution, second-degree assault, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon with intent to use, third-degree falsely reporting an incident and unlawful possession of marijuana.
He was issued an appearance ticket and released.
