GOUVERNEUR — A Gouverneur man faces felony charges after he allegedly sent a picture of his ex-girlfriend to her husband.
Derrick S. Marcellus, 45, was charged at 10:27 a.m. Sunday with second-degree unlawful surveillance, a felony, and fourth-degree stalking: illegal communication.
Marcellus sent a photo of his ex-girlfriend to her husband via text message. Marcellus allegedly did not have her consent to take or have that photo.
Marcellus also sent numerous harassing text messages to his ex-girlfriend.
He was arraigned in the Town of Fowler Court by Town Justice Lamson and released under the supervision of probation. He is to reappear in Town of Fowler Court on Dec. 16.
