POTSDAM -- A man was arrested Tuesday night following an investigation of approximately 70 cigars being stolen from Stewart's Shop on Sept. 3, according to Potsdam police.
Rashid Edwards, 19, was charged at 10:06 p.m. with petit larceny at 10:06 p.m. at the Potsdam Police Department.
The alleged incident took place at 1:20 a.m. on Sept. 3, police said.
He was cited and released on an appearance ticket returnable to Potsdam court at noon on Sept. 20.
