State police charged a man they stopped in Stockholm Tuesday night with possession of more than a pound of pot, and two men stopped in Oswegatchie were ticketed for alleged unlawful pot possession.
David M. Fox, 29, of Lee, was stopped by state police along US Rt. 11 in the town of Stockholm at 8:18 p.m. Tuesday and allegedly found to be in possession of a pound or more of marijuana.
Troopers charged him with a felony, second-degree criminal possession of marijuana: more than 16 ounces, and a misdemeanor, seventh-degree possession of a controlled substance.
His state was reported by troopers as “held.”
William J. Baker, 32, Taberg, and William B. Holland, 27, Westdale, were charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
State police said they stopped the pair Tuesday at 4 p.m. along State Rt. 812 in the town of Oswegatchie.
Both men were issued appearance tickets.
