POTSDAM -- A man was charged with driving while intoxicated early Sunday morning after driving the wrong way in a one-way construction zone on Maple Street, according to Potsdam police.
Troy N. Lynch, 21, Canaan, CT, was charged at 4:06 a.m. with first-offense DWI, failure to obey a traffic control device and refusing a breath screening test, officers said.
Lynch was reportedly taken to the police station where a chemical test determined him to have a blood-alcohol content (BAC) of .09 percent.
He was released on appearance tickets returnable to Potsdam court May 22 at 9:30 a.m., police said.
