MASSENA -- Massena police are investigating a hit-and-run personal injury car-pedestrian accident that occurred on East Orvis Street at approximately 1:49 p.m. today.
The investigation is on-going, the operator of the vehicle has been located and charges are pending, police said.
The pedestrian, Steven M. Chamber II, 23, of 544 Ruddy Rd., Chase Mills.
Chamber was transported by Massena Rescue Squad to Alice Hyde Medical Center in Malone.
Massena police were assisted at the scene by state police and the Massena Volunteer Fire Department.
