CANTON -- A Canton is being held on $3,000 bail after police say he “head-butted” and restrained a woman after illegally entering her apartment at about 4:50 p.m. Thursday.
Andrew J. LeBoeuf, 21, of 46 Law Lane, was charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree unlawful imprisonment, fourth-degree criminal mischief and two counts of second-degree harassment.
Police said LeBoeuf allegedly broke into the victim's apartment and reportedly restrained her. Police said LeBoeuf is also accused of "head-butting" the victim causing a minor injury to her forehead.
Police said LeBoeuf had left the apartment before they arrived, but he was located and arrested on Gouverneur Street.
Police said the front door to the house was damaged and needed "substantial" repairs.
LeBoeuf was arraigned before Canton Justice Christopher Curley and was sent to the SLC Jail in lieu of $3,000 bail or $6,000 bond.
Curley issued an order of protection to the victim.
LeBoeuf will appear in Canton Town Court at a later date.
