St. Lawrence County law enforcement officials have reportedly participated in what is being called “a major takedown” to be announced at a press conference in Watertown this afternoon, according to a source with information on the case.
Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is expected to announce “a major criminal takedown” at his 1 p.m. appearance at the Dulles State Office Building.
He will be accompanied by New York State Police Superintendent Joseph D’Amico and local law enforcement representatives, a press release said.
The attorney general is keeping the details to himself, and he will lay them out at his appearance, but a source familiar with the details said among the police agencies to be represented at the press conference will include some from St. Lawrence County.
