MADRID — A Madrid woman was arrested on drunk driving charges Thursday following a personal-injury accident on at the intersection of SH 345 and Cogswell Corners Road, according to St. Lawrence County sheriff’s deputies.
Jennifer L. Chambers, 44, was charged with first-offense DWI, speed not reasonable or prudent and driving without a seat belt, officers said.
Chambers was allegedly injured during the accident but details were not provided.
Blood was taken from Chambers and results are pending a toxicology report, deputies said.
She will be issued appearance tickets to appear in Madrid court at a later date, officers said.
