MADRID -- The Madrid-Waddington Central School District will receive $360,000 for classroom technology from the state Smart Schools Bond Act.
The program is intended to “equip students with the skills they need to thrive in a 21st century economy. These investments will help close the ‘digital divide’ by increasing access to technology and high-speed broadband for all students throughout the state, ensuring that no student gets left behind,” according to a statement from Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s office.
